Alchemy Acquires ChainShot In Its First Acquisition

Alchemy, the increasingly expanding firm dedicated to blockchain development, has acquired the popular Web3 educational platform, ChainShot.

Alchemy is often referred to as AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the Web3 space, as its services provide assistance to developers building Web3 apps. In February 2022, it was valued at over $10 billion.

ChainShot offers courses on Web3 development and as such is a perfect fit for Alchemy. Before the acquisition, it charged upwards of $3,000 for its courses. However, the courses will be free from now on.

While this is the first acquisition in the history of Alchemy, it’s part of its new business approach of hiring talent in the crypto industry. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
