Alibaba Cloud’s Cloudverse

It was revealed on the 5th that Alibaba Cloud released “Cloudverse,” a platform that can quickly deploy a metaverse on the Avalanche (AVAX) blockchain.

Metaverse is a multiplayer 3D virtual reality world built on the Internet. Cloudverse is a comprehensive solution that allows companies to easily customize, launch, and maintain a metaverse space.

The biggest feature of Cloudverse is that it is a “full open” model that does not require the purchase of land. Anyone with Alibaba Cloud clients and users around the world can build a business.

There is also a mechanism in place to support entry into Web3, a decentralized network that utilizes NFTs, smart contracts, and virtual currency. Business developers can receive support for how to use land in the Metaverse, formulating rules and policies, interactive features, events, and ongoing operations of the Metaverse.

Alibaba Cloud provides cloud infrastructure to enable rapid development and high traffic volume. Raymond Xiao, Head of Global Web3 Solutions at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, said:

Collaboration between Avalanche and MUA DAO

Avalanche and MUA DAO provide metaverse construction solutions. MUA owns the Metaverse middleware platform “MUAverse,” which provides one-stop digital asset creation, operation, and management for multiple Metaverse platforms.

In addition, the combination of MUA’s native metaverse users and Avalanche’s ecosystem user base is expected to increase customer traffic and improve brand awareness.

As such, Cloudverse is expected to be a strong entry point for businesses looking to seize the opportunity of Web3, promoting the adoption of blockchain in the Asian region.

Avalanche is a highly scalable smart contract platform that is characterized by a high speed of less than 1 second to complete a transaction. The partnership between Alibaba Cloud and Avalanche began in December 2022 and has been working together ever since.

Alibaba Cloud provides infrastructure technology and tools for users in Asia to easily launch validators (verification nodes) on the Avalanche network.
