Even though Cryptocurrencies in Argentina are not a legal tender, Argentina has served as a regional tender in the area of cryptocurrency. Argentina became an early adopter of cryptocurrency to protect inflation and circumvent prohibitions on transfer of foreign currency outside the border.  

The Two Largest private banks of Argentina named Banco Garlicia and the digital bank named Brubank have added the crypto trading option to its online banking website.

One of the most important banks of Argentina, Banco Galicia founded in 1905 has more than 4.2 million corporate and individual clients associated with its Linkedin page. On the other hand the digital Bank Brubank is totally digital and was a regulated bank launched in the year of 2017 in Argentina. 

One of the Banko Glacia’s users using the bank’s website found the very interesting new feature displayed and confirmed with the bank.

The bank in response agreed that they are adding new investment options for crypto trading features.

With this now the bank’s website is providing the ability to purchase bitcoin, Ether, stablecoin USD coin(USDC), and Ripple (XRP).

Further, Brubank tweeted  and confirmed the added feature saying that they are providing the crypto trading functionality for all its users. The users can view it by enabling ‘investments’ from the banks app. With this Brubank is also offering bitcoin, and ether trading as well as stablecoin USD Coin(USDC) and DAI.
