Binance to support ETH staking withdrawals

Major crypto asset (virtual currency) exchange Binance announced on the 13th that it will support withdrawals of Ethereum (ETH) staking on the platform.

Holders of the alternative token BETH will be able to apply to redeem ETH from 17:00 on April 19, Japan time. The withdrawal process can take anywhere from 15 days to several weeks, and once a withdrawal request is made, it will be impossible to cancel.

Ethereum completed the implementation of its major upgrade “Shapella” yesterday morning. With this, the withdrawal of staked ETH and rewarded ETH has officially started.

At present, a total of 69,540 ETH (18.5 billion yen) has been withdrawn, and 953,950 ETH are waiting for withdrawal.
