It has been revealed that a new benefit will be added to former President Donald Trump’s third NFT (non-fungible token) trading card, “Mugshot Edition,” released on December 12th. This benefit is a Bitcoin Ordinal grant and is intended for bulk purchasers.

The 100,000 Mugshot Edition, which was released for $99, allows customers to purchase 100 mugs ($9,900 total) and gain access to the 200-piece Ordinal Collection, “One of One.” The 200 units will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with 101 units already allocated to bulk buyers and 99 units remaining.

However, trading of the Ordinal Mugshot privilege is restricted until December 2024, and it is designed to be acquired on the NFT market “Magic Eden” by the deadline.

Of the 100,000 copies of the third edition, the Mugshot Edition, more than half remain unsold, suggesting that new sales promotion measures have been added. According to Poligonscan data, as of this writing, 48,377 bodies are in circulation and held at 6,481 addresses.

The original Mugshot Edition also included a bonus for those who purchased a certain number of copies, including a limited edition with a fragment of the suit Trump wore when he was arrested in Georgia. They were given a physical version of the card and an invitation to a dinner party with Trump.

CollectTrumpCards Series

The first installment of Mr. Trump’s NFT trading card series, “CollectTrumpCards,” was released in December 2022 with 45,000 units sold out in just six hours. The second edition was released in April 2023 with 47,000 units, which also sold out within hours. Combined with the first installment, it has generated more than $9 million in revenue.

These NFT trading card series are based on Polygon (MATIC), a type of blockchain technology, and Ethereum’s Polygon circulation currency “wrapped version WETH” is used as the payment currency.
