Amidst the scheduled FOMC meeting and speculations of Federal Reserve increasing interest rate by 25 bps, the crypto market is quite calm for the day. The star cryptocurrency, Bitcoin has maintained its $23,000 level since the start of the day leading other cryptocurrencies.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is changing hands at $23,093 after a gain of 1% over the last 24hrs.

Meanwhile, a venture capital investor and former CEO at BrightScope and Digital Assets Data, Mike Alfred has shared a bullish Bitcoin prediction. As per the Twitter post, Mike Alfred believes that Bitcoin is set to hit a massive bull run at $150,000. However, the investor further claims that if Bitcoin had to move towards the said target, the currency should first hit $23,133 and maintain its pace above this area.

If Bitcoin can re-take $23,133, then $150,000 becomes inevitable. Just math.

Testing Time For Bitcoin

Similarly, Ari Paul, founder at BlockTower Capital, a crypto hedge fund, portrays a bullish stance towards Bitcoin. According to Ari Paul, Bitcoin might jump at $100,000 by the end of 2024. One of the reasons that Paul believes will push Bitcoin’s price towards the said target is the large fund inflows from financial institutions like Grayscale Bitcoin Trust.

Paul further claims that if the crypto market turns down its current bullish trend and enters a bearish cycle like it happened in 2021, Bitcoin hitting $100,000 will be on a lower side.

Going out on a limb: I think BTC > $110k by end of 2024. (current price $23k). Feels like relatively aggressive prediction if we only consider current cycle, but zoom out to 2017, feels quite reasonable. We've kind of got 5 years of price compression now. /1

Currently all eyes are on the first FOMC meeting of 2023 and Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s interest rate hike decision. In a few hours from now, the crypto market will know if it’s destined for a more bull run or a bearish pull.
