bitFlyer will start handling “DAI” at its sales offices from February 19th.
Dai is a cryptographic stablecoin (ERC-20 token) based on the Ethereum blockchain, and is issued by depositing Ethereum (ETH) into the Maker Protocol. It is being developed by Maker DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). It is set at 1 DAI = 1 dollar using various crypto assets as collateral, but the rate may fluctuate from time to time.
