Bithumb, a well-known cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in South Korea, has revealed its plans to introduce fiat currency markets for Apecoin, Render Token, and Fantom. Starting from 4:00 p.m. on July 18, 2023, traders will be able to trade these cryptocurrencies using Korean won on the Bithumb platform. While Bithumb’s trading volume is currently smaller compared to Upbit, the largest exchange in South Korea, the addition of fiat currency markets is expected to drive increased trading activity for these tokens. This development highlights the growing interest in and adoption of cryptocurrencies within South Korea.
