The crypto community warned to lower the guard after Q1 2023 with a decline in hacks. The firm predicts temporary reprieve, not a long-term trend. 2022 saw a record $3.8 billion in crypto hacks, mostly from DeFi and North Korea-linked attackers, reported Chainanalysis. TRM Labs reported on May 21 that the total value of cryptocurrency thefts during Q1 2023, was lower than that of any other quarter in the previous year.
