BlockWallet has launched its Web3-oriented wallet solution with built-in privacy features, Invezz learned from a press release. It’s now available for download and will introduce a new era of interacting with Web3 and the dApps powering it.

There’s no shortage of wallets on the market today, but most of them lack privacy. This is at odds with Web3 prospects as it’s designed to give users control over their data, including financial data.

Effective solutions to privacy issues

BlockWallet has found ways to address common privacy issues, but not at the expense of wallet functionality. You can download the BlockWallet browser extension for Brave, Google Chrome, Opera, and Microsoft Edge.

Among the most important BlockWallet features are:

  • Non-custodial wallet approach, only users control funds
  • Private crypto transactions
  • No disclosing main wallet balance
  • Multichain access to dApps
  • Front-running bot protection
  • Support for Ethereum, BSC, AVAX, FTM, Polygon
  • Private interaction with blockchain apps
  • Inbuilt Privacy Pools let you hide main wallet address

Blockwallet CTO Iman Hossini commented:

When users interact with Web3, it poses significant risks because now the financial data is also attached to the user. As we build Web3, we should not make the same errors as before but aim to create a truly private Web3 experience. BlockWallet launch is a significant step towards this goal.

A critical milestone

BlockWallet’s public launch is a critical milestone for the team. NFT drops, implementing phishing prevention, and other new functions are in the works.

Users can explore the following options, among others:

  • Trading privacy
  • Private gambling
  • Private transfers and ENS domains
  • Ecommerce privacy

2K+ community members applied for beta testing

To offer as much feedback as possible, over 2,000 community members applied for the beta testing. This level of interaction allowed the platform to introduce crucial features and privacy solutions while maintaining a user-friendly, accessible interface.

BlockWallet CEO Aleksandras Gaska said:

In a world where privacy violations are commonplace, it is imperative to protect your privacy. However, not everyone has the skills or time to do that. I am happy that we can finally present a practical solution for the blockchain world that allows everyone and everywhere to take ownership of their privacy.

BlockWallet raised $1.8M in a 68x oversubscribed round

BlockWallet introduced a community bug bounty program with a bounty of up to $150,000 at the end of last year. Early last year, they raised $1.8 million in a 68x oversubscribed initial funding round. X21 Digital, Woodstock, and other notable entities invested in the $BLANK token private sale. The token’s current market cap is over $12 million.
