Chainlink, a blockchain data oracle provider, has established its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) on the mainnet, bringing enhanced security and features like Active Risk Management, Simplified Token Transfers, and Arbitrary Messaging to the Chainlink ecosystem. CCIP aims to solve cross-chain connectivity issues and has joined the Mainnet Early Access phase on the Avalanche, Ethereum, Optimism, and Polygon blockchains. Major financial institutions, including Swift, are collaborating with Chainlink to enhance cross-chain capabilities. The launch resulted in a 5.6% price gain for Chainlink’s LINK token.
