Becoming one of the top cryptocurrency projects of all time, creators of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection are apparently exhausting all means to pump the popularity of the project. In between its various ventures, Yuga Labs, the team behind the BAYC NFT collection, will also produce a three-part movie series in collaboration with crypto exchange Coinbase.

⭐DEFINITELY SOMETHING⭐

We're creating an interactive three-part film featuring the @BoredApeYC & @apecoin communities.

Titled “The Degen Trilogy,” the first part of the movie series is set to premiere at the NFT event “NFT.NYC” in June this year. Interested Bored Ape NFT holders can submit their NFTs along with their character descriptions to the Degen Trilogy website for the audition.

One of the most surprising parts of the event is the participation of Coinbase in the movie trilogy. The crypto exchange has set up a media division for the movie’s production, headed by entertainment and culture marketing director William Swann.

“We are dedicated to creating and supporting content projects that speak directly to our community and sustaining the culture of web3 innovation,” said Coinbase entertainment and culture marketing director William Swann of the project.

“As we aim to bring the next billion people into the crypto economy, we firmly believe that this interactive film series will act as a catalyst to serve that mission and help audiences understand the collaborative nature of web3.”

Owners of the selected Bored Ape NFTs will be rewarded with $10,000 in Apecoin and Bitcoin in exchange for the token’s licensing rights. The deadline for the casting call is set at 11:00 AM PST on April 14.
