Colopl Group’s Brilliantcrypto has signed an agreement with Bit2Me, one of the largest Spanish-speaking exchanges, to list its tokens on an overseas exchange following its domestic IEO on Coincheck. The company announced this on January 23rd.
Through “Brilliantcrypto”, a blockchain game that “mines gems” that is currently under development, the company is working to create new gaming experiences and the GameFi market. We will also work with OLA GG and T2LATAM, two of the largest gaming guilds in South America, with which we have already concluded partnerships, to expand our business in the South American region.
According to the release, South America is becoming a very powerful market, second only to Asia, with 17.6% of the population having played Play to Earn (P2E) games in Brazil and 12.1% in Argentina. That’s what it means.
Koujun Baba, founder of Colopl and CEO of Brilliantcrypto, said in a release, “South America has traditionally produced a lot of gemstones, and I believe that it is a region that is familiar with gem mining.We will create gemstones in the digital space from Japan. We believe that by teaming up the project “Brilliantcrypto” with Bit2Me, one of the largest exchanges in the Spanish-speaking region and an influential exchange in South America, we will be able to create a big impact on the Web3 industry in South America. “
In addition, Mr. Baba spoke in detail about how he came up with the idea for Brilliantcrypto and his thoughts on the new concept of “Proof of Gaming” in an exclusive interview with CoinDesk JAPAN in July last year.
As for overseas expansion, last year we partnered with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a globally popular soccer club. Regarding the background and aims, Yoshiaki Harai, director of Brilliantcrypto, said, “btokyo club” at the December 2023 roundtable.
This year, various blockchain games are expected to appear from Japan, and are expected to play a major role in the mass adoption of Web3.
