Investments in crypto-assets (virtual currency) funds saw their fourth straight week of net inflows, with rising prices boosting sentiment.

Crypto funds saw net inflows of $114 million last week, of which Bitcoin (BTC) funds closed most at $104 million, according to data released by CoinShares on April 17. . Inflows for the past four weeks have now reached $345 million.

CoinShares describes the growing interest in BTC funds as “a flight to safe haven assets by investors who fear continued problems with traditional finance.”

The Ethereum (ETH) fund saw net inflows of $300,000 despite the successful “Shanghai” upgrade pushing the price above $2,000 for the first time since August 2022.
