Crypto.com Custody Adds TON Blockchain

Crypto.com has announced an expanded partnership with The Open Network (TON) Foundation, reinforcing its commitment to supporting institutional access to the blockchain ecosystem.

Per an announcement, TON Foundation has become a client of Crypto.com Custody, a move aimed at enabling secure, institutional-grade asset management and staking opportunities.

The move aligns with recent developments that aim to advance crypto adoption.

Recently, TON Foundation unveiled a novel staking initiative that has the United Arab Emirates offer a Golden Visa programme to TON stakers.

TON becomes a Crypto.com Custody customer

Crypto.com Custody has integrated support for TON, allowing institutional clients to securely store and stake TON assets while earning rewards.

The platform also facilitates access to TON’s native tokens, including USDT and other stablecoins.

It’s an integration that is part of Crypto.com’s broader strategy to enhance its custody offerings, providing a comprehensive, secure solution for institutional and high-net-worth clients.

“We continuously invest in our institutional custody offering to provide the best-in-class platform that consistently exceeds the needs of institutional clients globally, from security to capability,” said Eric Anziani, president and chief operating officer of Crypto.com.

“We are proud to be selected by TON Foundation to support their custody needs, and we are excited to provide seamless access to TON for our custody clients.”

The partnership aligns with Crypto.com’s focus on safety and regulatory compliance, with its Custody Trust Company, offering robust protection for digital assets.

This includes a recently secured $120 million insurance policy to safeguard against theft, crime, and physical loss, further bolstering client confidence.

“We are excited to become a client of Crypto.com Custody, which gives us the option of leveraging their institutional-grade solutions to securely manage and engage with assets on TON Blockchain,” said Glenn Brown, vice president of business development at TON Foundation.

TON’s ecosystem and Golden Visa initiative

The TON Foundation recently announced a major program for Toncoin (TON) holders – stake TON and have a chance to earn the UAE’s Golden Visa.

As per the details, the Golden Visa is a residency initiative aimed at attracting investors and entrepreneurs who stake $100,000 in TON for three years and pay a one-time fee of $35k.

Participants can unlock funds after 3 years.

“This isn’t just about visas, it’s about opening the doors to real-world opportunities through crypto. A big thank you to our partners in the UAE for their vision, support, and trust,” said Max Crown, CEO of TON Foundation.
