The cryptocurrency market continued its climb on Tuesday.

Bitcoin hovered near $87,000, leading a broader rally in altcoins.

Solana and ETH were also showing strong recovery on Tuesday.

Investor sentiments have improved following reports that the White House is considering a more moderate stance on tariffs, easing concerns over potential economic disruptions.

The White House is reportedly shifting toward a more “targeted” approach in implementing Trump’s reciprocal tariffs, rather than a broad application.

The global cryptocurrency market cap rose to $2.85 trillion, marking a 2.05% increase over the past 24 hours.

Trading activity surged, with total market volume reaching $87.37 billion, up 60.12% from the previous day.

Bitcoin (BTC) price today

Bitcoin traded at $86,866.24 up around 1% in the past 24 hours.

The coin’s 24-hour trading range was between $85,890.56 and $88,758.73.

Bitcoin’s market dominance slipped by 0.31% over the day to 60.54%.

Bitcoin climbed back above $88,000 on Monday, extending its weekend gains as the broader cryptocurrency market moved higher.

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes predicted in an X post on Monday that Bitcoin could climb to $110,000 before pulling back to $76,500.

Hayes pointed to the US Federal Reserve’s dovish stance on inflation and President Trump’s flexible approach to tariffs as potential catalysts that could ease market concerns and bolster investor confidence.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

Ethereum (ETH) price was showing a strong recovery on Tuesday.

The token was up around 3.5% to trade at $2,063.37.

The intraday low and high were $1,990.96 and $2,101.98, respectively.

Trading volume for the coin shot up over 72% to $14.5 billion.

XRP and SOL price today

XRP price was down 0.26%, trading at $2.42 after hitting an intraday high of $2.50.

On March 24, CoinShares released its latest Weekly Crypto Asset Flow report, highlighting net inflows into the crypto market for the week ending March 21—the first in six weeks.

XRP ranked second, attracting $6.7 million in inflows.

The recent inflows may indicate growing speculation on the approval of a US XRP-spot ETF.

According to Polymarket, a crypto-betting platform, the likelihood of an XRP-spot ETF approval by December 2025 climbed to 86% on March 24, up from 57% in January.

Solana (SOL) registered an over 3.5% surge to $139.82 trading between $137.95 and $144.85 in the past 24 hours.

Top crypto gainers and losers

Cronos (CRO) surged 28.04% in the last 24 hours, trading at $0.1048, leading the top gainers.

Four (FORM) followed with a 27.37% increase, reaching $2.49, while Berachain (BERA) climbed 15.06% to $7.66.

Worldcoin (WLD) gained 11.05%, trading at $0.9188, and Story IP rose 11.46% to $6.10.

Kaspa (KAS) led the top losers with a 3.31% decline in the last 24 hours, trading at $0.07701.

Bitget Token (BGB) followed, dropping 2.47% to $4.81, while OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) slipped 1.53% to $11.61.

PAX Gold (PAXG) edged down 0.87%, trading at $3,019.05, and Helium (HNT) declined 0.58% to $3.31.

Tether (USDT) has inched up by 0.06%, holding steady at $1.00.

Stellar (XLM) advanced by 2.94%, now trading at $0.2896.
