Crypto prices today displayed a mix of gains and declines.
Bitcoin (BTC) was hovering around $94,000. It continued its decline from last week’s all-time high of $108,000.
Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH), XRP, and Solana (SOL) showed sub-5% gains in the past 24 hours, hinting at recovery.
Virtual Protocol (VIRTUAL) was the top gainer, climbing 35% in the last 24 hours, followed by Zcash (ZEC), which rose 20%.
The global crypto market cap increased by 2%, reaching $3.32 trillion.
Trading volume also saw a 20% jump, hitting $170 billion.
The Fear and Greed Index stayed neutral at 55.
Bitcoin dips 1.5%
At pres time, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at $94,310, with a 24-hour range of $92,526 to $96,545. BTC exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw $276 million in outflows.
Key players like BlackRock and Ark & 21Shares recorded major withdrawals. MicroStrategy continued its Bitcoin buying spree, adding more coins to its reserve after a recent $1.5 billion purchase.
Ethereum up 4%
Ethereum (ETH) traded at $3,409 gaining 4% in the last 24 hours.
Its 24-hour range was $3,263 to $3,466. ETH ETFs recorded a net outflow of $75 million, though some investors like Grayscale and Fidelity added to their holdings.
Meanwhile, XRP traded at $2.23, up 4% in the past day, with a 24-hour range of $2.14 to $2.27.
Whale activity and the launch of the RLUSD stablecoin boosted investor confidence.
Analysts predict a possible 60% surge for XRP if market conditions remain favorable.
Solana (SOL) also rose by 5%, trading at $188. Its 24-hour low and high were $179 and $193, respectively.
Weekly whale inflows of $1.7 million highlight growing interest in Solana despite recent market volatility.
Meme coins
Meme coins also posted gains.
Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) were up by 4%, trading at $0.3195 and $0.00002219, respectively.
BONK announced plans to burn 1 trillion tokens to boost its price to $0.11.
