The cryptocurrency market exhibited a positive trend today, with the total market capitalization experiencing a notable increase of nearly 3% to reach $3.36 trillion within the past 24 hours.

Trading volume, on the other hand, witnessed a decline of 9.2% to $99.38 billion.

This subdued trading activity is anticipated to revitalize as the holiday season draws to a close.

BTC, ETH price today

Bitcoin (BTC) price today demonstrated a strong performance, surpassing the $95,000 mark after experiencing a temporary dip to $92,000 earlier in the day.

Currently trading at $95,416, representing a 2% increase over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin achieved a high of $95,824.39 and a low of $92,788 during this period.

However, trading volumes for Bitcoin experienced a notable 20% decrease, settling at $28.71 billion.  

Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency, also exhibited positive price action, registering a 2% increase to trade at $3,406.05.

Its price fluctuated between a low of $3,310 and a high of $3,419 during the past 24 hours.

Similar to Bitcoin, trading activity for Ethereum remained subdued, with volumes declining by 15% over the same period.

XRP experienced a significant surge of 12% over the past 24 hours, currently trading at $2.39.

This surge was accompanied by robust trading activity, with volumes skyrocketing by 122% to reach $10.18 billion.

XRP’s price fluctuated between a low of $2.09 and a high of $2.44 during this period.

Solana (SOL) is trading at $204.58, reflecting an over 7% surge in the past 24 hours.

The 24-hour low and high are $188 and $1204.81, respectively.

Trading volume saw a minor decrease, down 1.12% at $3.19 billion.

Crypto gainers today

Virtual emerged as the top gainer in the last 24 hours.

The coin was trading 24.70% higher at $5.07. Trading volumes were up 23%.

Stellar (XLM) is trading at $0.4217, and was among the top gainers with a 19% surge in the last 24 hours.

The 24-hour low and high are $0.3416 and $0.4576, respectively.

Market cap rose by 17%, reaching $12.73 billion.

Fantom (FTM) is trading at $0.7876, up by 17% in the last 24 hours.

The market cap stands at $1.24 billion. Trading was up a massive 86% at $545 million

Crypto losers today

UNUS SED LEO (LEO) is trading at $8.45, with a 3.99% decline in the last 24 hours, marking it the worst performer among the top 100 coins by market cap.

The market cap is at $7.79 billion. Trading volumes were down by 7% in the last 24 hours.

Bitget Token (BGB) fell by 1.8% to $5.98 in the same period. The coin’s market cap has slipped 41% to $7.17 billion.

Trading volumes were also down 36%.

Monero (XMR) was down 0.43% in the last 24 hours to trade at ₹193.26. Trading volume was down by 31%.
