On December 5th, Dentsu Group and TOPPAN Holdings, in collaboration with companies and universities including ODK Solutions and Sony, launched a Web 3.0 wallet with a photorealistic avatar that precisely reproduces the holder’s appearance and speaking style as an interactive UI. The company announced that it will begin a demonstration experiment to apply the technology.
According to the release, this demonstration is the world’s first to give a wallet, which is an inorganic digital asset storage function, a physicality that is as close to a human as possible, and to enable the exchange of information through an interactive UI. The period is from December 11, 2023 to March 31, 2024. Data will be acquired at Kindai University and verified at The Open University.
In addition, it will automatically extract incentives that can be exercised based on NFT ownership status, and provide guidance to wallet holders about how to use incentives through natural language dialogue.
Going forward, Dentsu Group and TOPPAN Holdings plan to work with joint research companies to standardize procedures for blockchain deployment based on the empirical results. We also plan to publish use case proposals and verification results.
