[Digital Securities Forum 2023]Looking ahead to the further development of security tokens, from asset expansion to the emergence of a secondary market: Held on 12/13 | CoinDesk JAPAN

1 year ago 87

The security token (digital securities) market is gaining momentum. Issuance began in 2021, and the amount issued has more than doubled every year. At the end of the year, buying and selling will finally begin on Osaka Digital Exchange’s (ODX) START, Japan’s first secondary market.

Security tokens (digital securities) have the characteristics of making investments smaller and more efficient, and once they start buying and selling on START, they become more accessible and become more popular in the market. It is expected that this will lead to further expansion.

The Nihon Keizai Shimbun will hold a forum in collaboration with N.Avenue, which operates CoinDesk JAPAN, to disseminate the current status and future prospects of the security token (digital securities) market, as it did two years ago and last year (real-world and online). hybrid event). On the day, we will look back on the topics of 2023 with companies and organizations that lead the issuance and research and development of digital securities, and look forward to the future of the market from 2024 onwards.
