DOGAMÍ announces Petaverse minting on Tezos

DOGAMÍ is moving forward with development of the Petaverse. The project announced its minting phase on Tezos (XTZ/USD), Invezz learned from a press release. On March 1, users can access private and public sales with generation Alpha NFTs. They can choose whether to unbox.

About the Petaverse

The Petaverse is a metaverse, in which users and their pets can live, level up, and explore new things together. This is a new and unique take on play-to-earn mechanics. DOGAMÍ features over 300 dog breeds, each with unique traits and features. Their NFTs come in four rarity categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond.

Access via AR and mobile, unique P2E mechanic  

NFT holders can access their Dogamí through an app on their mobile devices and augmented reality. Introducing a Dogamí NFT into the Petaverse makes it possible to explore a virtual environment broadly.

NFT holders can train and customize their pets and have them compete in challenges, which are a crucial element of the play-to-earn mechanic because a solid ranking brings a higher number of $DOGA tokens.

Enticing future developments

A beta version of the P2E game will launch in the second quarter of this year. To enhance its appeal, DOGAMÍ will start offering farming, staking, and other attractive DeFi features. You need to mint an NFT in the collection to gain access to the DOGAMÍ Petaverse. This is only possible through a dedicated Tezos wallet.

Limited minting and access to private sale

OG Dogamers will all have access to the private sale, but there is a minting limit of 2 Dogamí NFTs per wallet. What’s more, those eligible for the public sale can mint 1 NFT per wallet.

DOGAMÍ has 80K+ members, NFT giveaway drew 27K entries  

The project community has grown to over 80,000 members worldwide. There is strong support for the initiative: a recent NFT giveaway drew over 27,000 entries. Doga Bones, the NFT subject of the free airdrop, ranked at the top of Objkt’s Hot Collection chart. It became the first free NFT airdrop project to hit that spot.

Late last year, DOGAMÍ secured $6 million in funding from investors such as Ubisoft and Animoca Brands.
