Steven Nerayoff, an early Ethereum advisor, has dropped a bombshell, accusing Michael Hlady, a government agent, of unfair treatment and extortion. Nerayoff’s recent tweet sheds light on his ongoing legal battle in what he’s dubbed the “#EthGate scandal.”

Nerayoff Takes a Stand

In his tweet, Nerayoff minced no words, declaring, “justice is finally being served” against Michael Hlady, whom he labelled a “government agent/provocateur.”

Nerayoff accuses Hlady of teaming up with FBI agents and others, resulting in an unjust four-year prosecution. He claims that the FBI supported Hlady’s actions, alleging they extorted hundreds of thousands of dollars from him. Additionally, Nerayoff alleges that despite knowing about Hlady’s fraudulent behavior, the government portrayed him as Nerayoff’s co-conspirator in a made-up extortion plot.

Taking Legal Actions

As a result of the injustice done to him, Nerayoff knocked on the doors of the Court and filed a lawsuit against FBI agents, Michael Hlady and Marianna Shooshani, involved in fabricating and prosecuting him for a crime he claims never happened.

Nerayoff vows to “not stop until we have uncovered every bit of corruption, including within agencies like the SEC, involved in #EthGate.”. He anticipates Hlady’s deposition to reveal his dealings with FBI agents and believes it will expose the truth behind the scandal.
