eToro, a multi-asset trading platform that supports crypto assets (virtual currencies), stocks, currencies and commodities, said in a new partnership that it will offer trading services for crypto assets and other assets directly to Twitter users. Announced on March 13th.

The new service, dubbed “$Cashtags” and available from the 13th, will provide Twitter users with real-time prices of crypto, stocks and other assets, directing them to the eToro platform to invest. .

The news was first reported by CNBC, theneToro’s official Twitter accountacknowledged it.

“$Cashtags” fits in with Twitter owner Elon Musk looking to integrate financial services into the platform to create a “super app.”

Musk has previously said he hopes Twitter’s proposed payment system will accept fiat currencies as well as crypto assets.

CoinDesk reached out to eToro for further comment but did not receive a response. Twitter also did not respond to a request for comment.
