Jacobi Asset Management has launched Europe’s first Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Euronext Amsterdam, giving institutional investors a simple, secure, and transparent way to access the cryptocurrency. The Jacobi FT Wilshire Bitcoin ETF, also known as BCOIN, follows regulations in the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and incorporates a renewable energy certificate solution to support environmental and social objectives. The fund will charge a 1.5% annual management fee to investors. This move shows that Europe is embracing Bitcoin as it gains more mainstream acceptance across the world.
