This feature is compatible with Ethereum, Linea, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Avalanche, and detects and notifies users before they make potentially malicious transactions.

Security analysis extensions such as Rabby Wallet, Wallet Guard, and Metadock already offer similar functionality.

According to data, the amount of tokens stolen from cryptocurrency users through hacking, phishing, and other methods reached $1.7 billion in 2023. Metamask is the largest wallet in the EVM environment and has an overwhelming number of users, so strengthening security is a priority.
