Find Satoshi Lab, developed by STEPN, begins alpha testing of the next work “Gas Hero”

Community test started

Find Satoshi Lab’s long-awaited second blockchain game “Gas Hero” began community testing on the 27th. The test will run from November 24th to December 8th, 2023, with a total of 3,000 community members invited.

Eligibility to participate was given to Gas Hero badge holders, Find Satoshi Lab ambassadors, partners, and the top 800 XP earners selected from Discord members. The corresponding wallet has received materials for base construction and items for the player to equip.

The Gas Hero badge is a rare and valuable NFT (non-fungible token) that has been given to STEPN/MOOAR users who meet certain conditions. Many assets such as heroes that can be used in Gas Hero games have been airdropped for owners.

The current floor price is 40,000 GMT (approximately 1.7 million yen) on “MOOAR (a monthly NFT marketplace operated by Find Satoshi Lab)”, and there was a sense of overheating at one point, with the market price exceeding 2 million yen.

Community testing of Gas Hero is being conducted on Polygon’s (MATIC) test network ‘Mumbai’. By participating in the test, you can experience trading on the test version of the NFT marketplace “MOOAR.”

All assets acquired by test participants in-game will be held on “Mumbai” and there are no plans to transfer them to the mainnet later. This means that assets from the test version will not be carried over and all users will have to start the game from scratch once the official public beta begins on Polygon mainnet.

This game is a multiplayer Web3 social game developed by Find Satoshi Lab, and is scheduled to launch on Polygon in December 2023. GMT, STEPN’s native token, is scheduled to be used for asset transactions, and the GMT price has risen significantly as expectations for the game have increased.

What is Gas Hero?

According to Find Satoshi Lab, GAS HERO has a sci-fi worldview, and is set in 2084 in an apocalyptic world after an AI-induced nuclear attack.

The game has a player-versus-player (PvP) aspect, with multiple players participating simultaneously, and social interaction is an important element. Players belong to areas, guilds, and clans, and coexist or compete against each other while collecting NFTs (non-fungible tokens).

Combat and strategy are at the core of the game, as gas heroes fight to save humanity and restore world order. The “gas” in the game refers to the natural gas that supplies electricity to the cloning laboratory.
