Mugshot Edition NFT released

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday released a new NFT (non-fungible token) trading card, the Mugshot Edition, featuring a photo of himself when he was arrested.

A dedicated website sells 100,000 cards for $99 each. The collection includes 2,024 limited edition physical cards, each of varying rarity, that will be mailed to customers who purchase 47 or more cards (approximately $4,600 worth) in a single transaction.

The limited edition physical cards will feature fragments of the suit Trump wore during his mugshot taken after his arrest in Georgia, and 25 of them will feature Trump’s personal signature. The suit fragments are described as “the most historically significant artifacts in the history of the United States.”

Additionally, those who purchase any of the 47 digital cards will receive an invitation to a dinner with Trump as a bonus. However, the notice said there was a possibility that they would not receive Trump’s suit fragments or autographed cards. Additionally, if Trump is unable to attend the dinner, the benefit dinner could be rescheduled or a limited edition Trump NFT could be awarded instead.

In addition, the first 200 people to purchase 100 cards will receive other perks, including a physical card containing a piece of the tie worn by Trump.
