Sales of the former president’s NFT collection soared after he appeared in New York City state court on Thursday.

According to NFT marketplace OpenSea, 30 of Trump’s NFT trading cards were sold in the first hour after his court appearance (up 462%), and 47 in the first six hours.

A big increase, but relatively small for an NFT collection. By the way, Nakamigos, the top-selling collection, recorded 1286 sales in the same six hours.

The former president will release the NFT in December 2022. For $99 each, you could apply for an exclusive experience with the former president by purchasing an NFT with the former president’s portrait on it. The collection sold out the day after its release, with prices more than doubling on the secondary market.

Currently, the floor price is stable at about 0.5 Ethereum (ETH), about 930 dollars (about 123,000 yen, converted to 1 dollar 132 yen).

Former President Trump pleaded not guilty to all 34 counts in Manhattan state court on Thursday.
