French game giant Ubisoft partners with Cronos chain to serve as validator

Cronos chain announced a partnership with major game developer Ubisoft on the 18th. Ubisoft will join Cronos as a validator, responsible for approving blockchain operations (governance) and network updates (updates).

Cronos Chain is a layer 1 blockchain operated under the umbrella of a large crypto asset (virtual currency) exchange called Crypto.com. It features EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatibility built on the Cosmos SDK. Cronos claims its user base is over 1 million.
