Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has requested a judge to allow him to be released from jail five days per week, according to court documents. Bankman-Fried was previously arrested alongside other protesters while participating in a climate change demonstration outside of the White House in March. The documents state that Bankman-Fried’s business is suffering due to his absence and that he does not pose a flight risk. The judge has yet to rule on the request. FTX has gained popularity among cryptocurrency traders due to its variety of advanced trading features and fast transaction speeds.
