The facility has a current capacity of 8 MW, and GDA plans to expand it shortly. The company will utilize renewable energy sources to power its Bitcoin mining operations and work with a local company to run the facility. GDA has previously opened two other facilities in Sweden, including a greenhouse data center pilot introduced in 2020. The company aims to lead the Bitcoin mining industry by setting an example for other players and minimizing its environmental impact.
