In a recent announcement, TSG Hoffenheim confirmed its partnership with Baby Doge. The club stated that Baby Doge was an “innovative and leading brand” in the crypto sector. The club has also promised to unveil more exciting projects to fans.
The Director of Partnerships at Baby Doge, Mike Watson, noted that this deal would boost the coin’s popularity in the soccer space. Watson said,
We endeavour to expand our global reach as a community-centred project, as well as to form strategic partnerships with world-class organizations and establish ourselves as a player in the sports world.
The deal will also include LED advertisements for the meme coin in the pitch during home matches. This is the first soccer deal for Baby Doge. Floki Inu has been leading other meme coins in securing sports deals. The meme coin has partnered with Kerala Blasters FC, the Spanish Cadiz and the Italian Napoli.
Not the first major sports deal for Baby Doge
Baby Doge launched last year, but it has secured a large following in a short time due to its strategic partnership deals. In July 2021, when Baby Doge’s popularity was at its peak, the meme coin was plastered on the Chevrolet Camaro NASCAR race car driven by Brandon Brown.
Brown commented on this endorsement, saying, “we’re proud to welcome Baby Doge Coin aboard our No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro as the newest partner of Brandonbilt Motorsports. The car looks awesome, and I can’t wait for everybody to see it on track.” Brown also talked about the humanitarian efforts by Baby Doge. He stated that the meme coin was invested in a project to save homeless dogs. The meme coin has invested significantly in this initiative by donating to dog shelters.
