MATIC is excluded
U.S. company Grayscale has adjusted the portfolio of its in-house managed basket-type investment trust, “Grayscale® Digital Large Cap Fund,” and replaced stocks.
According to the announcement, Polygon (MATIC) has been excluded and XRP and AVAX (Avalanche) have been added. The changes in the ratio by stock are as follows.
- Bitcoin: 70.88%⇨69.15%
- Ethereum: 26%⇨21.90%
- Solana: 1.25%⇨3.65%
- XRP:0%⇨2.54%
- ADA: 1.18%⇨1.62%
- Avalanche: 0%⇨1.14%
- Polygon: 0.69%⇨0%
This investment trust removed XRP from its basket portfolio in January 2021 after the SEC filed a lawsuit against Ripple in December 2020. This is the first time in three years that I purchased XRP.
It appears that the favorable judgment against XRP in the summer of 2023 in the Ripple trial was behind the repurchase.

As of January 4, this basket-type investment trust had assets under management of $378 million.
