Hayakawa Shobo releases the world’s first new book with “NFT e-book” | coindesk JAPAN | Coindesk Japan

Hayakawa Shobo and Media Do announced on June 1 that they will release a new book with an NFT e-book that comes with a set of “NFT e-books” containing the same content as the main story. It is said to be the world’s first attempt to attach an NFT e-book to a paper book.

The edition with NFT e-books will be released as the five launch lineups of the new book label “Hayakawa Shinsho”, which will be launched by Hayakawa Shobo in June 2023. It will be released on June 20th, the same day as the regular version, and you can read e-books with the application of Media Do’s NFT service “FanTop”, and you can buy and sell them and give them as gifts.

In addition, it is possible to record limited content for NFT e-books, such as additional text, videos, audio, and images. 2 out of 5 items to be released this month will also include special interview content by the author.

Hayakawa Shinsho will continue to release the NFT e-book version, and plans to offer limited benefits such as videos.
