The native token IOST soared after the IOST Network announced that it had signed a strategic partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
According to the announcement, IOST, which stands for Internet of Services Token, will integrate AWS’ Web3 solution into its ecosystem to provide Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), GameFi and Web3. are trying to strengthen
ISOT will use AWS’ AI tools and decentralized internet architecture, the announcement added.
Last month, CoinDesk reported that AWS was recruiting for multiple Web3-specific positions, and another report said AWS was preparing to build its own NFT marketplace.
IOST is a native blockchain launched in 2018 that aims to achieve 100,000 transactions per second (TPS).
IOST briefly surged to $0.127. The 24-hour trading volume also increased by more than 500% to about $70 million, according to CoinMarketCap.
