Kensuke Amaha appointed as Vice President and COO of Animoca Brands Japan | CoinDesk JAPAN

Animoca Brands Japan announced on February 1st that Kensuke Amaha has been appointed as Vice President and COO, effective on the same day. Mr. Amaha has a track record of leading the NFT business at Coincheck.

Animoca Brands Japan is a strategic subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands, which is known for its active investment in Web3. Since its establishment in 2021, it has been supporting the global expansion of Japanese IP in the Web3 field.

In the release, Mr. Amaha said, “While making maximum use of our assets and network, including the 450 companies we have invested in, we will do our best to help Web3 take root in society by combining our business and rule-making knowledge and experience in Japan’s Web3 industry. I will do my best.”
