Kucoin Wallet, the official Web3 wallet of the KuCoin crypto exchange ecosystem, has partnered leading Ethereum scaling protocol Polygon (MATIC/USD).
With Polygon as its official strategic partner, KuCoin Wallet will be able to integrate additional innovative features to add to its Web3 offering.
The integration will help the wallet provider’s users an opportunity to explore the Web3 ecosystem better, the wallet provider said via a Medium post.
KuCoin Wallet targets growth within Polygon’s thriving Web3 ecosystem
The official strategic partnership comes hot on the heels of Polygon Network’s unveiling of its zkEVM Public Testnet, which is designed to offer greater capital efficiency for dApps building on Ethereum and Polygon.
KuCoin Wallet will leverage full integration with the Polygon ecosystem to bring faster and cheaper transactions to its user, with these being two key factors hindering widespread Web3 adoption. The platforms expect the partnership will offer KuCoin Wallet users seamless access to dApps in the Polygon ecosystem.
Jeff Haul, Head of KuCoin Wallet, commented about the development:
“We are excited to work with Polygon, which has been dedicated to building a thriving ecosystem and continuously expanding its technical capabilities. With its scalability, speed, and low network fees, we attempt to provide the best experience for our users. Also, Polygon PoS has emerged as a hub for some of the most important Web3 projects. With Polygon as one of our partners, we can integrate more innovative Web3 features in the future to make users explore the Web3 world in a comprehensive way.”
KuCoin Wallet launched a Polygon Ecosystem Carnival to promote the users’ DeFi experience, with $35,000 worth of prizes available. The giveaway also involved various NFTs, supported by crypto projects MM Finance, Zignaly, Meshswap, PoolTogether, and Stader.
Invezz reported on Monday that Polygon had partnered Korean blockchain platform HAECHI LABS to boost onboarding of Web2 gaming companies to Web3.
