LINE NEXT Inc. announced on the 10th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SEGA Corporation to acquire an IP (intellectual property) license.

LINE NEXT is one of the venture companies of the LINE Group, based in the United States, specializing in the development and expansion of the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) ecosystem. The details of the provider’s IP have not been disclosed, but since it is called a “very popular classic game”, it is possible to cast a well-known major title.

As part of LINE NEXT’s plan to spread Web3 games, LINE NEXT will introduce this new title on “GAME DOSI,” which claims to be a global Web3 game platform. We will support your marketing activities.

The LINE Group established the “LINE Blockchain Lab” in April 2018, and has been developing dApps using blockchain technology, distributed systems using P2P networks, and researching encryption technology.
