Mintverse, a full-scale NFT aggregator and marketplace, and NFTSCAN are introducing a verification campaign for all users, Invezz learned from a press release. Mintverse will verify all projects signing the contract on NFTSCAN, creating more legitimacy for NFT collections on Ethereum (ETH/USD) and Binance Smart Chain (BNB/USD).
Easy verification on both blockchains
Through this project verification portal, projects can get verified on the Ethereum Mainnet and BSC quickly and easily. What’s more, a trading fee rebate will run until June 2022, encouraging projects to undergo this process. The verification procedure by Mintverse and NFTSCAN is expected to go live in the first half of March 2022.
Mintverse Founder Rene Cao comments:
The purpose of this campaign is to offer projects with the promise of exponential growth an opportunity to get featured which is something that marketplaces and aggregators holding the majority of the market don’t offer. We want to give everyone an opportunity to enter the limelight of the NFT ecosystem, but we will definitely ensure we put out quality projects out there with the highest potential.
Differences to OpenSea verification
Mintverse and NFTSCAN approach verification differently from how artists and projects approach OpenSea verification. The information provided for verification purposes includes community size and engagement, on-chain statistics, background of team members, innovation, and sustainability.
Moreover, the procedure goes far beyond overall trading volume, giving new projects the opportunity to claim the spotlight.
NFTSCAN founder Shier Han adds:
We hope that with Minterverse, we can push more NFT developers to actively participate and use NFTSCAN’s OPEN-API to perform a signature verification, bringing more influence and exposure to their NFT community.
Mintverse has 9K+ users and $1M+ in trading volume
Mintverse has more than 9,000 users and passed $1 million in trading volume on BSC within less than a month of launching. What’s more, the team will deploy an upgraded contract to calculate on-chain data for Ethereum transactions.
