MIXI joins Oasys as a validator | coindesk JAPAN | Coindesk Japan

Game-specific blockchain Oasys announced on April 7 that MIXI will participate as a validator. In addition to the 21 initial validators, SoftBank, KDDI, Nexon, and MIXI have decided to participate as the second group of validators, bringing the number of Oasys validators to 25.

MIXI is currently developing Web3 businesses such as sports-specific NFT marketplace “DAZN MOMENTS”. In the future, we will explore collaborations that include not only validators but also game development.

Yuko Nemoto, Senior Executive Officer of MIXI, said, “Through the participation of validators in the OASYS blockchain, which provides new experiences to users with a unique approach, we will update the existing communication path and provide more surprises to users. I would like to connect it to the creation of great content,” he commented.
