Montenegrin Justice Minister Andrej Milović plans to extradite Do Kwon to the US to face criminal charges related to the collapse of stablecoins terraUSD (UST) and Luna (LUNA) are doing. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on the 7th.

The collapse of Kwon-created terraUSD and Luna triggered a crisis that hit the entire crypto industry in 2022, with losses rippled far and wide.

Mr. Kwon had been imprisoned in Montenegro for several months, stuck as the United States and South Korea were both fighting for a trial. The Journal, citing people familiar with the matter, reported that Justice Minister Milovic privately announced the decision to extradite him to the United States on fraud and securities law charges.
