Nexo has just won the “Best Cryptocurrency Wallet” award for 2022 during the 6th annual FinTech Breakthrough Awards event.
The awards recognise Fintech leaders, innovators and visionaries in digital banking, personal finance, payments, lending, investments, and RegTech among others.
According to a press statement shared with Invezz, the 2022 FinTech Breakthrough Award program featured over 3,950 nominations.
Other than Nexo, notable winners in various categories included Binance, Afterpay, MoonPay, BNY Mellon, Mastercard and S&P Global. Blockchain firm Blockdaemon, stock trading app Webull, and information services company Experian also won.
Nexo’s ‘pursuit of excellence’
State-of-the-art technology, ease-of-use, and accessibility reportedly set Nexo above rivals. Also key is its role in bridging traditional and digital finance.
Commenting on the award, Nexo co-founder and managing partner Antoni Trenchev noted:
“We are proud to receive this award and industry recognition from FinTech Breakthrough. The Nexo team’s pursuit of excellence – from product development to licensing across the world – has brought about a new generation of professional financial services for digital assets.”
Nexo has processed more than $75 billion in transactions for over 3.5 million customers around the world, with its services available in more than 200 jurisdictions.
“At Nexo, we always look ahead by designing our products to be the financial services of tomorrow,” Trenchev said.
“The Nexo Wallet is the easiest and most secure place to buy, sell or trade crypto – and we are thrilled to congratulate Nexo on winning the ‘Best Cryptocurrency Wallet’ award for 2022,” said James Johnson, Managing Director at FinTech Breakthrough.
