Game-specific blockchain Oasys announced on June 6 that it will hold a hackathon “Oasys TOKYO HACKJAM” from June 23 to July 12 during Japan Blockchain Week. The total prize money is scheduled to be 65,000 USD (about 9 million yen), and entries will be accepted from the 6th.
Oasys is a cryptocurrency project from Japan that specializes in blockchain game development, and currently has 5 Verses (Layer 2) and about 20 games. In order to further expand the ecosystem, it has decided to hold the first blockchain game hackathon. Hackathon sponsors include the limited liability company DMM.com / DM2C Studio, KDDI Corporation, and SoftBank Corp.
