OKCoin Japan announced on February 17 that it will start handling Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB) on February 28 at its crypto asset (virtual currency) exchange OKCoinJapan.
Shiba Inu Coin, as the name suggests, is a meme coin made in imitation of Dogecoin (DOGE) with the theme of Shiba Inu. In January of this year, it announced plans to launch a beta testnet for its Layer 2 network, Shibarium. Market capitalization as of February 17 is 1.04 trillion yen (data from coindesk JAPAN).
