In an interview with news website Highsnobiety, the ‘Invisible Friends’ Swedish creator Markus Magnusson said:

“It’s for people who are still kids at heart. People who just wanna have a bit of fun on the internet. Just the very easy-going type of person that has a good taste in art, lol.”

“I don’t wanna reveal too much but we’re already branching from WEB3. We’ll always make sure that whatever we do we keep the exclusivity for our holders so it’s gonna be limited runs of everything we do,” Magnusson said when asked about the collection’s future plans.

With the soaring popularity, a special gold Invisible Friend was auctioned for charity, grabbing nearly 499.69 ETH, or $1.32 million from the buyer. Proceeds from the sale went to the RCC charity fund, with the seller receiving the unique Gold edition along with five unrevealed Invisible Friends NFTs.
