OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT marketplace, experienced a decline in its trading volume and active user base in August. According to reports, the platform’s Ethereum trading volume was $106 million. OpenSea’s Polygon transaction volume was also considerably low at $7.02 million, with only 96,000 active users, marking a nine-month low. The decline in trading volume and active user base could be attributed to the overall slump in the NFT market, which has experienced a significant drop in demand and value in recent months.
