Pocket Network processes 1B relays daily

Web 3.0 relay infrastructure middleware protocol Pocket Network announced its protocol has processed a record number of relays, nearing the benchmark of one billion daily, Invezz learned from a press release. Pocket provides abundant blockchain bandwidth from a globally distributed network of more than 40,000 full nodes to applications in Web3 across 37 blockchains.

Relays grow tenfold in 6 months

Relays have doubled week-over-week and Pocket is nearing one billion daily relays, ten times the 100 million average daily relays it was averaging in November. In just the last week, Pocket has had more relays than it did for the whole month of December, the platform announced.

Sustained growth

Pocket’s decentralized infrastructure is continuously hosting new blockchains and app integrations. Harmony (ONE/USD) and Polygon (MATIC/USD) alone are driving hundreds of millions of relays across Pocket.

Pocket is fulfilling demand for decentralized web3 infrastructure with its sustained growth. Market conditions are not the sole factor behind this demand. Demand will remain regardless of whether it’s a bear or bull market.

Increasing use cases for protocol  

What’s more, liquidity channels will open up as the number of use cases for Pocket’s protocol grows. In the industry, middlemen are being replaced with middleware. Pocket is reducing the inherent inefficiencies in how hosting and cloud computing providers currently serve the crypto industry. Pocket’s dominance and scale have always been based on cost efficiency, speed, and high quality.
