On February 6, Fujitsu will use Web3 elemental technologies to launch the Fujitsu Web3 Acceleration Platform, which is an environment and place where people can connect with trust in the digital space. It announced that it will be provided free of charge after the end of the fiscal year.
According to the release, the platform has three web elements, including a trust function group “Fujitsu Computing as a Service Data e-TRUST” equipped with blockchain technology that realizes secure data distribution and utilization between companies and individuals. It provides an environment for technology and services, and a place where individuals and companies can connect with trust and create an ecosystem that realizes safe and secure data distribution and utilization.
In addition, the platform claims to “create new value with Web3 and redesign into an autonomous decentralized social system”, and in addition to providing various services and technologies, it is possible to create new businesses through co-creation on the platform. Aiming to achieve this, the company plans to proceed with the study of use cases, development of prototypes, and demonstration experiments, etc., centering on the following three themes.
- Realization of co-creation society by distributed autonomous organization (DAO)
- Rights management and utilization of digital content
- Realization of digital trust
