Push Protocol Offers Chatbots

It was reported on the 7th that Push Protocol, a Web3 project, added an AI chatbot to “Push Chat,” which allows interaction using wallet addresses.

The Push Protocol is Web3’s decentralized communication protocol, formerly known as the Ethereum Push Notification Service (EPNS). Smart contracts and dApps can send notifications to wallet addresses.

Push Chat is an encrypted decentralized chat system that does not require personal information and allows messaging with just a wallet address. Messages are stored in IPFS and Push Nodes, but are encrypted and signed so only the addresses involved can decrypt them. Customer support for dApps (decentralized applications) and in-game chat are assumed to be the main usage scenes.

What is IPFS

The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a peer-to-peer file sharing network that powers the distributed web.

Harsh Rajat, co-founder of Push Protocol, emphasized to foreign cryptocurrency media Decrypt that the chatbot is encrypted. “There are also wallets associated with ENS Names, and users may want to keep all conversations private. There is no benefit to open chat by default,” he said.

According to Rajat, the combination of AI and default encryption aims to provide users with a safe and enjoyable experience. Push’s chatbot doesn’t just return the right answer, it’s designed to liven up the conversation.

For example, if you ask a question about bitcoin, you will get a generic definition, but at the end, “If you are lucky enough to own bitcoin, you may be one step away from becoming a millionaire!” can be added.

Moving forward, Push Protocol plans to expand to include chat-based payments and personalized user experiences.

As AI chatbots gain worldwide attention, countries such as Canada, Germany and Sweden have expressed concerns over AI-induced privacy. Italy temporarily banned access to ChatGPT.
