Swiss non-profit foundation Re-State, who are transforming governance, launched the world’s first MetaUniversity in Metametaverse, Invezz learned from a press release.

MetaUniversity’s vision is to help collect all critical knowledge accumulated in the past, present and future that’s related to governance and collaboration in an effort to achieve evolution toward collective human consciousness.

Connecting educational institutions in all metaverses

Apart from providing educational resources on collaboration and Web3, the MetaUniversity will bring all educational institutions operating in different metaverses together. Its focus is on gathering all human knowledge related to collaboration and the future of governance.

Promoting collaboration

The foundation is on a mission to promote collaboration in all its forms. They place special emphasis on technological development.

Their MetaUniversity will be an international academic network of leading institutions and researchers across the globe, taking part in research on new tools for the future of governance, Web3 and crypto economics, evolution of human collaboration, digital identity solutions, and others.

Anastasia Kalinina, Co-Founder and CEO of Re-State Foundation commented:

The Metaverse represents a powerful testbed for new governance models that are more human-centered, inclusive, responsive, and pluralistic. Open knowledge and accessible education should be top priorities for the next generation of metaverses. It is imperative to make structures and incentives underlying our digital ecosystem evolve alongside its technological foundations.

Alexandra Seaman, Head of Partnerships at the Re-State Foundation stated:

The MetaUniversity is an essential part of digital commons driven by community solidarity, group ownership, and open source technologies. We want the metaverse we are developing to become a safe space for its visitors to explore different aspects of human collaboration and discuss the impact of emerging technologies.

Joel Dietz, Founder and CEO of Metametaverse said:

Facilitating learning and collaboration is one of the key reasons we built the Metametaverse. It provides a seamless way of connecting different metaverse spaces.

Omar Ghobash, Assistant Minister for Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE added:

At the time of greatest need for coherence and cooperation at the global level, we welcome leadership in promoting the connectivity and interdependence between people, as well as collaborative governance innovations. The UAE shares the same vision and spirit, and we look forward to co-developing and testing new collaborative tools that can help us attain more agile and resilient societies.
